SPRING SUMMER AUTUMN WINTER

In the course of one year Anne Skole Overgaard curated 4 exhibitions in 4 different places:
A garden, a S-train station, an envelope and a 60 meter long corridor in a residence hall.

The form of the works varied from printed sheets of paper in the envelopes to permanent murals in the corridor of the residence hall.

SPRING

The B-house 2012

The exhibition took place in a garden made by Anne Skole Overgaard using worn out bicycle trailers placed in the courtyard at the studio-house The B-house. The exhibition also took place in her studio in The B-house, from where you could look down at the garden.

Summer is about memory - both personal and collective. About the subjective or systematic view on pictures and words from different places and times both in the present and in history.

AUTUMN
-an exhibition in an envelope

November 2012

Autumn is a row of artworks on separate sheets of paper, whirling as autumn-leaves around topics like loss of control, melancholy, cultic stones and much more.
The black and white works make use of media such as text, photo, drawing and graphics.

Autumn consists of envelopes, each containing 10 printed sheets of paper.
10 artists have each made one sheet of paper for the envelope, which can be bought for 20 kr / 2,75 euro/ 3,5 $.-
Then you can hang the papers at home or elsewhere. You can flip them through, store them carefully or they can blend into the other piles of paper of everyday life.

Participating artists: Søren Andreasen, claus ejner, Anke Becker (D), Jeuno JE Kim (KOR/SE), Park McArthur (US), Lasse Krog Møller, Anne Skole Overgaard, Ulrik Guldin Pedersen,
Camilla Rasborg and Christian Vind.

WINTER

Winter consists of murals in a 60 m long corridor at the Kfuk residence hall in Copenhagen.

Maja Gade, Anne Munnecke, Marie Melchiorsen og Anne Skole Overgaard

The winters ambiguity between introversion and longing away was the starting point for the murals. The artists attempted to expand the narrow corridor both visually and mentally.
